Degrees

Degrees offered from the Mathematics Department at Southern Adventist University include a B.A. in Mathematics, a B.S. in Mathematics, and a minor in Mathematics as well as secondary certification in Mathematics.  The requirements for each of these degrees are given below:

Secondary certification

Secondary certification in Mathematics requires a baccalaureate degree and completion of the professional education courses for licensure.  Students preparing for secondary teacher certification must include MATH 215 and MATH 415 in the major.  See further explanations in the Education and Psychology section of the Catalog.
